The Perfect Man 5

Updated: Mar 5, 2020

Then you are trapped by your own words... - Proverbs 6:2 CEV

Many Christians who live their lives with unpleasant situations and in unpleasant circumstances wonder why their lives have taken such a direction or why they are experiencing such. Some may come to the conclusion that God isn't answering their prayers or that the devil has something to do with their situation, hence nothing is going right for them.

Examining our theme scripture, we clearly see that a man can trap himself by the words he speaks. From this we are able to deduce that the devil isn't always the one behind every negative situation. For example, if a man conditions himself for most of his life that there's no such thing as a perfect wife, in marriage he is most likely to find himself wondering why his spouse is giving him trouble or why there seems to be no peace in the home. Well, this is a result of the thoughts and words that he cultivated over the years, prior to getting married.

Observe what is written in Job 22:28 (NKJV) "You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you, so light will shine on your ways." How remarkable. This scripture clearly communicates that your experience in life (in your job, finances, business, family and health) depends on your declarations - the words that you speak. If you want to see perfection in your life, you need to speak forth perfection. The same applies for alignment, excellence, completeness and fruition; you need to declare these things in order for them to be manifested in your life. Your role is to declare, God will do the establishing. Know this, there is no declaration that is too big for God, so go ahead and make those bold declarations of Faith. If you say it, God will establish it. Hallelujah!

Another important factor to note is that the words that we speak are a reflection of that which is in our hearts. Matthew wrote about this in Matthew 12:34 saying "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." Reading Colossians 3:16 the Apostle Paul advocates "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly..." Job says in Job 23:12 (NLT) "I have not departed from his commands, but have treasured his words more than daily food." Dearly beloved, as we engage in a consistent study and meditation on the Word of God, we gain the ability to only release words that are perfect and full of life, thus guaranteeing that the direction of our lives will be that of a perfect path, upward and forward only, Glory to God!

In conclusion, God Almighty has given us the ability and authority to bring to pass that which we desire to see in our lives. Our tongues are a weapon. Use your tongue, make those bold declarations and you shall have what you say.

Confession:

The Word of God is written in my heart, therefore I speak the perfect Word only. My life takes the path and direction of the perfect Word that comes out of my mouth always. I'm walking in complete excellence and perfection in Christ Jesus. Glory to God!
