The Perfect Man 9

So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth (Genesis 9:1 NKJV).

Being born again, we know that we are children of God and therefore we're highly blessed. We live and walk in the Lord's blessing. And yes, the truth is, you may find many of God's children not experiencing these blessings given to us by God. The question to ask is, why? Firstly, it's important to know and understand how God gives a blessing. When reading our theme verse, we see that God blessed Noah and his sons. He did this by speaking or releasing words of blessings over them when He said, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth." God used words to bless. Now, to bless means to empower to prosper, it means to infuse with s

pecial abilities. So when someone says "I'm blessed", they are saying that they are empowered to prosper and that they have special abilities. The question remains: Why is it that God's children who are blessed don't find themselves walking in the reality of or experiencing the fulness of these blessings? Understand this: The pronouncement of blessings make the blessings to work. Although the New Creation is blessed, it is pronouncing those blessings that will make them to produce results. And throughout this series of 'The Perfect Man,' we've been learning that we ought to imitate God in His speech. So if God blesses through words, it means we're to also to speak words of blessings always. The blessings that many may seek after are evidently not too far away from them as they may think. Those blessings are right in their mouths. Isaiah 65:16 (AMPC) says, So [it shall be] that he who invokes a blessing on himself in the land shall do so by SAYING, may the God of truth and fidelity [the Amen] bless me..." It's quite clear that a blessing is invoked by spoken words. If you want to see yourself walking fully in God's blessings for your life, speak words of blessings over your life. Bless your family, spouse, parents and children by speaking words of blessings over them. Bless your church and your members by your words. Words of blessings are words that are perfect. And we know that the Word of God is perfect (Psalm 19:7), therefore speak forth God's Word. Let God's Word dwell in you richly through study and meditation of scriptures and subsequently, out of the abundance of the heart you shall speak (Matthew 13:34). Prayer: Precious Father, I thank you for blessing me with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. My family and everything that is connected to me is mightily blessed. Your perfect word does not depart from my mouth; I speak words of blessings always. In Jesus's name, amen. Further study:
