God's Headquarters

"David found favor with God and asked for the privilege of building a permanent Temple for the God of Jacob. But it was Solomon who actually built it. However, the Most High doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. As the prophet says...." (Acts 7:46-48 NLT)

When we read from 2 Samuel 6:12 (NKJV) we discover that, "...The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God...." The man Obed-Edom had been greatly blessed by reason of the ark of the Lord being in His household. This ark carried the divine and awesome presence of God.

David was also a man who succeeded greatly, 1 Samuel 18:14 says, "David continued to succeed in everything he did, for the Lord was with him. "

Solomon was the man who built the permanent temple of the Lord in which He was to dwell in. However, that was in the old testament. Thank God today we're living in the new testament and He no longer lives in temples made by the hands of men.

Where does God's divine presence dwell in today therefore? Romans 8:8-9 (NKJV) declares,

"So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His" (Romans 8:8‭-‬9 NKJV). The Spirit of God (His awesome and divine presence) lives in you today. This is something to shout about. You have become God's headquarters, His operating center and His place of dwelling.

David prospered because the Lord was with Him. Obed-Edom was blessed because of the ark of God. Now that God lives in you and His presence is in you at all times, it means your life has become an endless stream of blessings and prosperity.

John 3:34 (TLB) reads, "Those who believe him discover that God is a fountain of truth. For this one—sent by God—speaks God’s words, for God’s Spirit is upon him without measure or limit." Not only have we been given the Holy Spirit, but He's been given to us without measure, thus, we have the fullness of the Holy Spirit in us (Isaiah 11:2).

Understand that you've become God's living sanctuary, His living tabernacle, "And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God...." 2 Corinthians 6:16 NKJV). God's temple is sacred, holy, pure, clean and perfect; that's you.

Psalms 96:6 (AMPC) describes you as such, "...strength and beauty are in His sanctuary." Strength and beauty are in you. Your life is beautiful. Hallelujah.

When you come to the consciousness of who you really are, you cease to live as an ordinary man. You come to understand that no sickness, poverty, lack or frustration can reside in God's presence. That man who required healing, deliverance and breakthrough has died; Christ is alive in you today (Galatians 2:20).

This is who the Christian is. This is not a religion at all, it's a reality of Christ in you. Look at what the Lord Jesus said, "Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?...." Jesus knew the Father was in Him and spoke as such. You should do the same. You've become God's living and Holy sanctuary, declare this truth continually, cultivating the consciousness of the Father in you.

Prayer:

Blessed Father, thank you for you live in me and I in you. Thank you for you've given me the Holy Spirit without measure and He's brought honour, glory and beauty into my life. I'm God's living tabernacle and I carry His divine presence everywhere I go, in Jesus name. Amen.
