BORN IN ZION

Isaiah 33:24

And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity

Knowing who you are and what you have in Christ is pivotal in your Christian walk and thank God we have the Holy Spirit who has come to show us the things that are freely given to us of God. However, you also need to know and be conscious of where you are – your present location. Let’s look at the following analogy, Now, if you are in South Africa and there is famine, you can decree and plead to the Lord that there be prosperity; nevertheless those who are in Australia don’t have to plead to the Lord for prosperity, not because they are acting spiritual, but because where they are there is an abundance of wealth. That means where you are matters, it will even determine the type confessions you’ll make. In like manner It wouldn’t be wise to expect to see the ocean in Johannesburg CBD. It would be foolishness to expect to see elephants in Sandton City. Thus there are things (Prayers, Confessions, Prophecies, songs, etc.) that are not applicable to the one who is an inhabitant of Zion. The challenge arises when they don’t know where they are and don’t know much about the environment their in.

Our opening scripture declares that the inhabitants of Zion shall not say they are sick. Note: Prophet Isaiah didn’t say everyone shall not say I am sick, he specifically mentioned that the inhabitants-those who dwell in Zion are the ones who shall not they are sick simply because in Zion is a place; an environment where it is impossible for anyone who dwells there to get sick.

This means that those (Christians) who are in the city of Zion are not the sick trying to be healed. It is only the underage Christians who may feel sick and the solution is growth by the word (Galatians 4:1-3 & 1 Peter 2:2). The moment we accepted Jesus Christ and became New Creations we died to sickness. The bible says we died with Jesus. That is why Paul said “it is no longer I who live…” (Galatians 2:20) he understood that the old Paul who was subject to sickness died with Jesus, and the new creation resurrected (was born).

The New Creation is thus born superior to sickness and disease. The life in Christ is not by any means the continuation of the old rather the new creation has the life and nature of God resident inside him. He requires no healing from the outside because he has healing Mechanisms working inside him, that is the forces of zoe. That’s why the new creation can lay hands on the sick and the sick recover. Therefore the part of him that can be sick is dead; the “sickable” part of you is dead for good. Let’s take a look at the following analogy: There are plants and animals you don’t have in your nation, they don’t exist at all simply because they won’t survive in your nation because the environment is not conducive for them. In like manner, in Zion there is no sickness, demons or poverty because the environment is not conducive for those things.

(Hebrews 12:22) says you have come to mount Zion the City of the living God. That means you are not marching to Zion; you have come to Zion, the city where there is an abundance of wealth. So as the one who dwells therein poverty is now foreign to you. When you are in Zion all you see is angels, prosperity, and divine health. You are no longer stepping out of poverty; but you have entered into your financial rest. In this city of God it is impossible to have demonic attacks. If you still do: the question is where are you? Quickly deal with them on your own (Mark 16:17), there’s no ministry office assigned to dealing with demons in the church (Ephesians 4:11).

Furthermore, the bible says you are seated with Jesus and not toiling with Jesus. When you understand where you are the content of your prayer changes: From “Father I come to you in the name of Jesus, to Father I thank you for I am One with you.” Even your Prophetic Compass changes, You become a New Testament Prophet whose ministry is relevant to the New Creation. Let the word of God have final authority over your life. Your experience will never change the word of God. We walk by faith and not by feelings or experience. Having nightmares will not change (Colossians 1:13) that says you are delivered. Don’t observe lying vanities (Jonah 2:8), never entertain a mirage.  Paul said I commend you to the word of His grace (Act 20:32). It’s only the word that has a perfect description of our beloved county – Zion.

CONFESSIONS

Father I thank you for I have come to mount Zion, the city of the living God. I’m

not on my way there but I have arrived. In this place I experience abundance of wealth, divine health and prosperity.
