Your Heritage In Christ
They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are unstable. I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High (Psalms 82:5-6 NKJV).
In His walk on earth, the Lord Jesus was a master over life. He was in total control and functioned in absolute dominion over all circumstances.
Jesus knew and understood who He was, hence He functioned with mastery and authority. In John 11:25 (NKJV) He declared, "...I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live." Not only did Jesus know and understand who He was, He also boldly confessed it. He boldly declared that He has the glory of God (John 17:22).
This is no different with us. Just like Jesus, we ought to declare who we are and what we have in Christ. Firstly, we need to know and understand who we are and that which we have. As in our opening scripture, it reveals that we're gods and are children of the most high. Therefore, this truth ought to be your daily confession: "I'm a god and I'm a child of the most high!" Hallelujah.

Being born again, we have the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness: "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ)"Romans 5:17 KJV). This ought to be your daily confession: "I have abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness." It's your present hour reality.
When Jesus continually declared who He was, He was putting to work an important principle. Psalms 119:89 (NKJV) reads, "Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven." You see, God's Word with regards to who you are and what you have is settled in Heaven. However, at the present moment, being here on earth, we need to settle the same Word by declaring what the Word says about us, as we learned from our Lord Jesus.
When reading a scripture like Colossians 2:10 (AMPC), "And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead–Father, Son and Holy Spirit–and reach full spiritual stature]...." As a born again believer, the fullness of God is in you, this Word is settled in Heaven. It's now your responsibility to make this faith proclamation always and you will see yourself walking in the fullness of this reality.
God's written Word is there for us to study and meditate upon, however, it is when you voice out the Word of God that it starts producing results. John 10:7 (NKJV) reads, "Then Jesus said to them AGAIN, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am...."" This implies that the master not only declared who he was and what He had once, but he made these confessions over and over again. It shouldn't be any different with you.
Constantly study God's Word. Meditate on the Word, and shout out the Word of God with joy, because these truths are your present hour reality.
Prayer:
Thank you blessed Father for you've given me abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. I'm a King-Priest in Christ Jesus; ruling and reigning in my world. Thank you for the reality of your Word in my life, and I boldly declare it at all times.
