TRANSFIGURATION BY THE WORD

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32 Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from my Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?” 33 The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, But for blasphemy, and because of You, being a Man, make Yourself God.” 34 Jesus answered them, “ Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”? 35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken). John 10:31-35 NKJV Our opening scripture unveils to us an account that the Jews had with Jesus. The word of God reveals that that the Jews were ready to stone Jesus because they alleged that He called Himself a God. Note that when you actually study the scriptures closely you discover that Jesus did not declare Himself a god, rather the master called Papa God his “Father “, “Many good works I have shown you from my Father.” (John 10:32), and therefore we can account and say judging by the Jews response to this statement it is clear that they had an understanding of what Jesus meant when He called God his “Father”.

When God gives birth he can only reproduce after his own kind, thus whosoever is born of God has the God-type of life in him that means he has the pulsating life of God; the very divine nature of God resident inside him. Jesus being a man just like the Jews declared God as being his Father automatically claiming to have this God type of life. This is why then the Jews called him a blasphemer and wanted to stone Him because they had a clear understanding of what Jesus meant when he titled God as his “Father”.

In the book of (Ephesians 1:17) the Apostle Paul says, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:”

Based on this statement made by the Apostle Paul we can resolve that there’s someone called Glory and that person is you the new creation. The Bible makes it clear that the New Creation is the glory that followed the sufferings of Christ (1 Peter 1:11).

Furthermore, in the book of (John 17:22) Jesus says, "I have given them the glory that you gave me..." that means not only is the new creature the Glory of God but he has been given the glory, no wonder the word of God says we are wonderfully and fearfully made for we have been called to live a glorious life.

Moreover, Paul says we have been glorified. What does this mean? (Romans 8:30) states that to be glorified is to be raised to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being; consequently, to be in a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being means that we are one with the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:17). To be one with the Lord means we possess the fullness of the attributes that make God, God (Philippians 2:5-6).

We can then boldly say the new creature was born into glory, born glorious and thus he can only move into another degree of glory (2 Corinthians 3:18) therefore, the message or prophesy to the new creature is not; “You are coming out of poverty into wealth or you are coming out of sickness into health” but rather it should be “You are healthy and wealthy and it can only get better and better. You are not the Poor trying to be Rich but rather the Rich discovering how Rich you are”. That’s the message to the new creature.

The Bible makes it clear by saying it’s from glory to glory and not from shame to glory, not from grass to grace. As much as you were born human, you were also born glorious. As much as you were born into planet earth, you were born into glory.

You see Gods word clearly declares that, “The path of the just shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day” (Proverbs 4:18). This means from day one your path is bright; if you put the word to work it shines brighter. If you don’t put the word to work it remains bright. If you put the word to work you will move to a greater degree of glory, if you don’t put the word to work you remain on standard glory this means the worst the Christian may experience is standard glory that is remaining on the same level of glory. It cannot get worse.

Thus we have a responsibility as Christians to constantly move to another degree of glory. To move into another degree of Glory the Bible says as we continue to look into the word of God (that is to study, meditate and listen to anointed material), we are constantly being transfigured…. from one degree of Glory to another (2 Corinthians 3:18). This connotes that by the word we are transformed; transfigured, changed into the next level of Glory. Go for the word voraciously to experience constant transfiguration by the word of God.

Confession

Dear Father I thank you for the efficiency of your word in my spirit. As I look into your word I experience transfiguration by the word of God. I move from one degree of Glory to another. I become the exact representation of the word of God. Glory To God!
