The Spirit Has Been Poured 3

When the Spirit is given to us from heaven, deserts will become orchards thick as fertile forests. Isaiah 32:15 CEV

When the Holy Spirit is poured out into the desert, it becomes orchards thick as fertile forests. In like manner, there's an impact of the Holy Spirit upon your spirit now that you've received Him and He's in you.

Romans 8:14 says, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." When the Holy Spirit comes into you, He leads you, He guides you and directs you in the way you should go; in the direction of God's perfect will and purpose for your life. This is what is so beautiful about scripture; it's self-explanatory. It doesn't say you're led by your dreams, but you're led by the Spirit.

The bible informs us in Jeremiah 29:11 that God has plans to prosper us. It is the Holy Spirit who orders your steps on the course and plans your Heavenly Father has prepared for you. God wants you to walk in His plans of prosperity, divine health, dominion and unending success for you. He wants you to be an effective soul winner for that's the purpose you were born for. Ephesians 2:10 AMPC explains, "For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship),

recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].” The leading and guidance of the Holy Ghost in you causes you to walk in these predestined paths.

The leading of the Holy Spirit takes place from within. He leads you through your spirit. Romans 8:16 says, “The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God...” When you have to make decisions in life, it's not the confirmation of men you need to know you're making the correct decision, but that of the Holy Spirit; He will bear witness with, agree, confirm with your spirit that indeed you're making the right choices and are heading in the right direction. It is therefore very important you get your spirit aligned and in sync with the Holy Spirit; training yourself to corporate with His promptings and leadings.

Proverbs 20:27 (NKJV) further explains that, “The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart.” This doesn't suggest that God needs a lamp. No He doesn't. Rather, he uses your spirit as a lamp to lead, guide and show you the path you're to go. He leads you through the inward witness.

Therefore, how would you really know that it is God who's talking to you, leading and guiding you? How do you recognize His voice? “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace.” Isaiah (55:12 NKJV). When the Spirit bears witness with your spirit, you're filled with joy and peace. This is your confirmation of the leading of the spirit. When you think of taking a decision or doing something and you feel an unrest or uneasiness in your heart, a loss of peace, then you know you're not to proceed with it.

The voice of your human spirit is peace or unrest. That's one of the ways God leads you. John 10:27 (NKJV) says, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” Through the peace or unrest in your heart, you'll know in which direction God is leading you. The bible also instructs us to, "...let the peace of God rule in your hearts..." (Colossians 3:15).

The Greek for rule is "Umpire". As in a tennis match, the umpire makes the call on whether the ball is in or out of play; ensuring the match runs orderly. Thus, let the peace of God rule like an umpire in your heart. Let it be the peace of God in your heart that informs you whether you're walking in or out of God's will. Never try reason with your mind what God is telling you, trust the Lord with all your heart — the leading takes place in the heart and not in the mind — when you do, you'll stay in God's perfect peace, will and purpose for your life.

Confession:

I walk in the path of light, victory and success always for I'm led and guided by the Spirit of God. I fulfil my purpose in Christ and walk in God's perfect and excellent destiny for my life through the inward leading of the Spirit in me. I'm forever triumphant in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah.
