The Seven Spirits Of God 1

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,

The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.”

(Isaiah 11:2 NKJV)

The above scripture let's us know of the Seven Spirits Of God, which are: The Spirit of The Lord, The Spirit of Wisdom, The Spirit of Understanding, The Spirit of Counsel, The Spirit of Might, The Spirit of Knowledge and The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord.

It is important to note that there is only one Holy Spirit (The Spirit of God). What are the Seven Spirits Of God therefore? The Seven Spirits Of God simply refer to the seven manifestations of the Holy Spirit. From the Bible, we see that the number seven symbolises perfection, fullness, completeness. Thus, the seven Spirits of God refer to the "Fullness" of the Spirit.

The Master Jesus was the first person to have the fullness of the Spirit manifested in Him. Everyone else who came before Him, no matter the great exploits they performed for the Lord, didn't experience the fullness of the Spirit, but had a measure of Him. Being born again and having received the Holy Spirit, you have the fullness (without measure) of the Spirit in you, for God does not give the Spirit by measure (John 3:34). Hallelujah.

Let's delve deeper and take a look at one of the seven of Spirits Of God. Namely, the Spirit of Counsel.

The Holy Spirit is in you to guide, counsel and lead you in the way you should go. This means you've been wired up to hear and recognise His voice. The bible says, “Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is

the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left” (Isaiah 30:21 NLT). Oh how beautiful this is. As you consult with God in the major decisions of your life, He gladly tells you the right decisions to make; all for your success and prosperity.

In these last days, your desire should be to only do the will and pleasure of the Father, pleasing Him in all things - He who has sent you. It is only through the Spirit of Counsel that you can successfully do this for He teaches you and gives you the right orders (instructions) in living your life to fulfill God's perfect will.

John 16:13 NLT reads, "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will

not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you

about the future.” Not only does the Spirit of Counsel guide you, but He also shows you visions, He tells you about the future (your future). Contrary to what some may have been taught, you don't need a Prophet to tell you about your future, but the Holy Spirit in you. More gloriously, He guides you in the path that leads to that glorious and beautiful future He has for you.

The Prophet Isaiah says, "The Lord God has opened My ear, And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away” Isaiah

50:5 NKJV). The Lord God has opened your ear. You're now able to pick up instructions from heaven; from God Himself. You receive extraordinary ideas, strategies and counsel from Him for your ministry, business, finances and marriage. The days of mistakes, regrets, trial and error are over for you because the Spirit of Counsel gives you miracle-producing counsel.

It's His desire to lead and guide you daily. Practice to say, “Spirit of Counsel this is what I’m thinking..., then ask Him, what are you saying?”

Then you talk in tongues and listen for His voice, and you'll surely get a response upon which you can act.

Confession:

The Spirit of Counsel leads and guides me into all truth. I do not err for I function by the divine counsel of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Counsel wakens me and opens my understanding to God’s perfect will. Through His leading, I walk in God's perfect path for my life. Hallelujah.
