The Perfect Man 4

"And none of us is perfectly qualified. We get it wrong nearly every time we open our mouths. If you could find someone whose speech was perfectly true, you’d have a perfect person, in perfect control of life." (James 3:2 MSG)

When God gave birth to the New Creature, He gave birth to a perfect creature. The question is, who exactly is this perfect man and how do you identify him? Is there something special that makes Him distinct from everyone else?

The answer to this is revealed in our opening scripture. It says that the perfect man is "someone whose speech is perfectly true." When we read James 3:2b from the GN translation it says, "But if a person never makes a mistake in what he says, he is perfect and is also able to control his whole being." We can conclude according to the scriptures that the perfect man is the man who never makes a mistake in what he says, and who never says the wrong things. His words are faultless, flawless and they contain no errors in them. This is the man who speaks the word of God and this is the man who speaks the wisdom of God in every situation. He speaks health and not sickness, life and not death. This is how a perfect man is identified, it is by His perfect words, and the word of God describes you as that man, Hallelujah!

Why is it important then for you as a perfect man to always speak words that are faultless and flawless (words consistent with the word)? Well, in the latter part of our opening scripture we read, "If you could find someone whose speech was perfectly true, you’d have a perfect person, in perfect control of life." How remarkable! When you speak perfect words, you are in perfect control of your life. This reveals to us that in order for one to enjoy a life of peace and stability and with everything under control; something more than money is required. The word of God tells us that all you need is your words - perfect words (The Word of God). Remember, you shall have what you say.

This was one of the important instructions given to Joshua. God told him in Joshua 1:8 not to let the Word depart from his mouth. In other words, everytime Joshua was to open his mouth, only perfect words were to come out (words consistent with the word of God). The same goes for the new creation. You can take full control of your life and cause it to go in the direction of God's perfect will for you. How? By talking right. Master to utter perfect words. By your words you shall be justified, by your words you shall be condemned.

Understand this: The words that you speak are of great significance. This is an important principle that we see conveyed in the book of Mark 11:23 and it reads, "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." The bible clearly states that you shall have what you say. Meaning that if, for instance, a mother says "kids of this generation are very problematic, they're all the same and are undisciplined," according to what we read from the book of Mark, this parent shouldn't be surprised when her own children start to misbehave and cause problems for her. What then she should say? "My children are different. They are well behaved and there are no problems with them" If she makes this her confession, she shall have what she says!

Child of God, put this principle to work in your life and it will yield the desired results. If you want to take over this world, declare it and say "The world is mine!" When you speak perfect words, that's what you shall have manifested in your life - PERFECTION. You are not different from your words.

Confession:

My words are perfect and faultless. I don't make a mistake in my speech and I never say the wrong things. By my words of perfection, I'm in perfect control and in charge of my life. Thank you Lord for giving me the power to bring forth that which I desire in my life through the words that I speak. Glory to God!
