The Perfect Man 2

“He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.” - Deuteronomy 32:4 KJV

God's work is perfect and therefore one can safely say that everything that is created by God is as perfect as He is. God, being God, would never create a work that is anything short of perfection. His standard is perfection. It is therefore impossible for Him to produce anything that is not perfect; He can only produce perfection.

When reading the bible, there is something about the new creature written in the book of Ephesians 2:10 and it says: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” The new creation is God's work. This is amazing! If the new creature is the work of God, he is therefore a perfect man, for God's work is perfect. Being born again means that you are in Christ, you are born of God, you are a new creature, and you are the work of God and are therefore perfect because the works of God are perfect.

Understanding the above therefore proves that the statement, "No one is perfect" is actually false and completely nullified. However, sadly, many Christians still believe that no one is perfect and that only "God" can be or is perfect. Nevertheless, the Word of God proves it to us that it is possible for a man to be perfect, not only that, but that when God initially created us, new creatures, He made us to be perfect beings.

We also get to know and discover from Psalm 19:7 which reads: "The law of the Lord is perfect...", that not only is God perfect, but His Word is also perfect. Where do you, as the new creature come in in this revelation then? 1 Peter 1:23 NKJV says, "Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever." As a new creature, this is where you come in; you are born of the perfect seed, the perfect Word of God. This means that you are perfect, incorruptible and indestructible because you are a product of the perfect Word. Glory to God!

Amazingly, there is more to the perfect man. The bible, in James 3:2, defines the perfect man as one who speaks perfect words only - he is one that is never at fault with his words. His words are full of and give life, they are full of wisdom and they bring comfort, joy and peace to those who hear them. As a Born Again believer, this is you defined; this is who you are as the man in Christ, one who is perfect because their words are perfect.

Understand this; speaking perfect words is for your advantage. You are creating and shaping your future because where your words go, your life takes that direction. With your words, you can perfect your life, marriage, finances, business, family and health.

Jesus was perfect and excellent in words; imitate Him (Ephesians 5:1 NKJV). Speak perfect and excellent words only. If those words are not perfect, do not say them. You need to train yourself to speak the Word of God only. Remember, the bible says that you will be held accountable for every idle word you speak - this is why it is important to always give special time to taking confessions of the word of God as much as you give special time to prayer. In doing this, you are filling up your mind and your spirit with perfect words and thoughts and you are also training your spirit to release words that are perfect always.

Confession:

I am God's workmanship and His works are perfect, therefore I am perfect. I am an offspring of the perfect Word of God. His word is my life, and as I speak it forth, I bring to pass the realities of the word in my life.
