The Life of Glory

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus ‭‭(Romans‬ ‭3:23-24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When reading the above verses, many only put focus and major on the twenty third verse saying, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…”. Whereas the very next verse explains, “being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”

‭‭(Romans‬ ‭3:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬). Being justified means we’ve been declared not guilty in Christ. Hence 2 Corinthians 5:17 let’s us know that, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” You’re a new creature in Christ and you have no history of wrongdoing.

The Complete Nation
The Life of Glory by Pastor Ndzalama Zwane

Before the vicarious sacrifice of the Lord Jesus, man was Separated from the life of glory by virtue of the Adamic sin. It was then when the twenty third verse of our theme scripture was relevant and stood as truth. However, Jesus came and changed it all!

Through His resurrection, Jesus ushered every Christian into the life of glory. This glory that He brought and ushered you into is much greater than what Adam had initially; He’s given you greater glory, hallelujah. And moreover, He’s filled you with His glory and has also made you His glory. You need to make these your daily confessions and say, “I have the glory of God, I’m filled with His glory, and I am the glory of God”.

1 Peter 5:10 (NKJV) reads, “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you”. Christianity is a calling unto glory. This is the life you’ve been called to. When God called you to Himself through Christ Jesus, He wasn’t calling you to a religion, into a life of pain, misery, poverty or sickness. No! He was calling you to a life of glory, where you enjoy life and and live in dominion.

Furthermore, Jesus says, “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one…” ‭‭(John‬ ‭17:22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬). What an amazing truth. That same glory of God that abode in Jesus, Jesus has given it to us. We’ve also been glorified in Christ Jesus. This means we’ve been “raised to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being” (Romans 8:30 AMPC). You’re a heavenly being, that’s why you can’t be sick, poor, or participate in the ungodly activities of this world; you’re not of this world.

The word of God is the glory of God. And this word is your mirror, as you look into it, you see yourself. And what is even more beautiful is that you can continually increase the glory in you. 2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV reads, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” As you study and meditate on God’s word, you move from glory to glory. You become more glorious through the word; your life only gets better everyday.

Confession:

I’m the glory of God, I’m full of glory, and I live a life of glory. As I look into the word of God, I become more glorious. The glory of God is seen and heard through me. I’m the glory of God in motion. Hallelujah.
