See The New II

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV).

Divine enlightenment in your spirit through God's Word is crucial for your Christian walk, for it is only through God's Word that one can live and walk in God's perfect will.

When God's Word dwells richly in your heart, you cease to view the world as an ordinary man. Observe the instruction given to the new creation in our opening scripture, "...behold, all things have become new." This is the first instruction commanded to the man in Christ: to behold (see). In the Old Testament, the Lord spake to Joshua and advised him not to recognise the walls. Instead Joshua was to "see" that Jericho had already been given into his hands (Joshua 6:1-2). If God expected this from a man who wasn't born again, surely more is expected of the New Creation, to "see" that all things have become new, to "see" that a new life has come.

In Colossians 1:27 (NLT) Paul conveys, "For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory." Did you "see" that? Christ lives in us, and we know without a doubt that He is greater than any situation in this world, Hallelujah.

As a child of God, it's imperative that you see the reality of truth that you have come into in Christ Jesus. This is the only way possible for you to enjoy the triumphant life in Christ.

Let's look at more Glorious realities from God's Word:

- 1 John 5:11 "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." From this scripture, we can clearly "see" that we have Eternal life — zoé (the life and nature of God). This means that no sickness or infirmity can touch us. No wonder we can boldly proclaim "I live in divine health, for the life of God is at work in me!"

- Ephesians 5:30 (NKJV) "For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones." What a remarkable scripture from which we "see" that we've been joined to the Lord in an inseparable union with Him, Hallelujah. We've become the flesh, bones and body of Christ, meaning that we possess the same authority given to Jesus Christ!

- 2 Corinthians 5:17 "If any man be IN CHRIST" Wait... "In Christ?" So Christ is not only a person but also a place (an environment)? Emphatically yes! There's an environment called Christ and Glory to God we're in it! We have entered into our place of rest, our place of abundance, health, success and prosperity— Christ! Oh blessed be God!

Beloved, let the word of God be all that you "see," for it is written: "as far as your eyes can see, it is yours" (Genesis 13:15).

Confession:

The eyes of my understanding are enlightened through God's Word; as a result I know and understand who I am in Christ. I'm born of God, I have Eternal life in my spirit. No sickness, disease or infirmity can dwell in my body. I am in an inseparable union with the Lord and can never be disadvantaged, Glory to God.
