MYSTERIES REVEALED 2
CHRIST IN YOU
1 Corinthians 2:9-10
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
As a Christian it’s important to understand that there are certain fundamentals, truths from God’s word that truly define who the Christian is, what he has and what he can do in Christ. That’s what the spirit of God meant when he said these are the things he has prepared for them that love him. The Apostle Peter came to discover this when he did a study on the writings of the Apostle Paul. As he conducted an in depth study on the man’s writings, it is rather interesting that although Peter himself was an Apostle, he acknowledged that some of the writings of the Apostle Paul in his letters were challenging to comprehend (2 Peter 3:16). Paul himself acknowledged that there are mysteries that have been revealed to him and that he has indeed written briefly about them, “...and if you will read what I have written, you can learn about my understanding of the secret of Christ.)" (Ephesians 3:3-4 GNT).
A mystery that we will examine is Christ living in a man highlighted in (Colossians 1:25-27). Paul says,” [25] God has given me the responsibility of serving his church by proclaiming his entire message to you. [26] This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God’s people. [27] For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you...”

Reading from the above the Apostle Paul illustrates to us that there’s no mystery that has been kept from us, everything has been revealed to us and one of the greatest revelations the church ought to walk in the reality of is that Christ lives in us. This is one of the manifold wondrous things the miraculous birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ made possible. In the Old Testament there were many things that were possible, however God living in a man was not part of them. This is the mystery that was hidden for ages, Gods plan all along, and has now been revealed to the church, that it has become possible for God to take his abode in man. We are Gods living tabernacle, his headquarters thus we are one with the Lord, and are one spirit with him (1 Corinthians 6:17). If this be true, then this cancels out a lot of confessions, prayers points and songs in the church e.g. “ I need more of you Lord” A thousand times No!
God lives in us thus we are carriers of divinity. (Colossians 2:9) “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.” All the fullness of God lives in Jesus, (1 John 4:17) says as Jesus is so are we in this world what's more is (Romans 8:17) says, “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ... " We are joint heirs with Christ. If Jesus had all of God living in him and we are like him in this world and are joint heirs with Him that means we too carry God in all his totality, power, wisdom and might. These are the mysteries which have been revealed that the church should be brooding upon and walking in the reality of. A consciousness of these divine realities will enable the church to walk in unity of faith and knowledge measuring up to the stature of the fullness of Christ.
CONFESSION
God has chosen to take his abode in me therefore I am His sanctuary; His living tabernacle. I carry divinity and thus all of God, his power, ability, strength, wisdom and might are resident inside me. My life is set on a course of perpetual victory in Jesus Name.
