For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4
Our opening scripture uncovers a remarkable reality it says,”... whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world...” When you came into this world you came through woman but the day you got born again the bible says in James 1:18 God gave birth to you. Now if God can birth that means He can only reproduce after his own kind consequently to be born of God means ye are gods.
Psalm 82:6 affirms this truth it says,”...Ye are gods...” It doesn't say ye are humans or ye are of a certain race or a certain ethnic group but it says “...Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” The Apostle Paul rebuked New Creatures in Corinth for functioning as men 1 Corinthians 3:3.
Going back to our opening scripture it says whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world. That means he that is born of God has overcome the elements and depravities of this world. Furthermore, being born of God means we are “...born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” (1 Peter l1:23) connoting that we are the product of the word.
In addition, the bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...” John 1:1.The above scripture reveals to us that God is the word. Now if God is the word and he gave birth to us that means the new
creature is the word of God in motion. The Apostle Paul declares this more clearly he says, You are our epistle written in our hearts known and read by all men 2 Corinthians 3:2.
In the book of Psalm 107:20 the bible says, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” In the book of Mark 16:18 Jesus says, “they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” The above scripture demonstrates to us that when God wants to accomplish something in someone’s life, like healing the sick, he sends his word. God is the word and He gave birth to us making us the word. This simply means to achieve something supernatural in someone’s life God can send us because we are the word. If this is true it connotes that we’ve become the solution, we’ve become Gods outstretched arm to the world. If someone desires a miracle or a touch from God they could easily obtain it from us because we’re exactly like God.
Moreover, the word tells us that God is a spirit John 4:24 and He is the father of spirits Hebrews 12:9, if this be true it inevitably means that you are a spirit because God gave birth to you.
God gave birth to us and if he gave birth to us that means we are sons. Apostle John understood this he said, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God...” (1 John 3:2) this is a present hour reality, we are not going to become sons of God but now are we the sons of God. Additionally, if we are sons of God then we are joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). To be a joint heir with Christ means everything that belongs to Jesus belongs to you the same way it belongs to him. Psalm 24:1 expresses this more clearly, it says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;” now if the world belongs to Papa God and you are a joint heir with Christ Jesus that means you own the world.
CONFESSION
I’m born of the incorruptible seed of the word of God therefore my life is an unending stream of victory. I’m an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ thus I’ve overcome the elements of this world.
